Bruce Berckmans (V.P. Business Development)

Berckmans has been involved in the Biomedical Industry field for over 20 years, working in research and development, marketing and business development. He brings experience with the development and commercialization of both human cells and synthetic biomaterials, the two fields that represent the core business of TRT. He has served on the executive committee of Biomet3i, while Vice President of Research and Development and most recently Vice President of New Business Development. Prior to his tenure at Biomet he was the president and owner of Techmedica Florida Inc., which was sold to Anspach Inc. in 1996. He is an inventor with five U.S. issued patents, over 20 other US filings, and numerous issued or filed foreign patents.
