Elaine Cheng (Laboratory Manager)


Cheng was the first TRT employee. With a BSc honors degree in Human Biology at the University of Toronto, and several years of technical laboratory experience, she manages all stem cell related operations of the TRT lab. She is responsible for the development, improvement, and transfer of HUCPVC technology to our international licensees. She also oversees the Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities related to the HUCPVC phenotype, including the creation and documentation of all Standard Operating Procedures for the processing and cryogenic preservation of HUCPVCs.
