Simon Bubnic, PhD (Senior Scientist)

Dr. Bubnic, our Senior Scientist, is responsible for product development of HUCPVC based therapies. He draws on extensive industry experience in cell therapy development, having held positions at Osiris Therapeutics and Aastrom Biosciences. His work has carried him from academic study of stem cell transplantation, through research and development activities in support of clinical trials and scale-up towards commercial scale manufacturing. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto under the mentorship of Dr. Armand Keating.
